With my extensive experience in public service, I am well-prepared to lead Pompano towards a brighter future. I have a proven track record of navigating complex challenges and delivering results that benefit our residents.
Short List of Our Shared Community Goals

Local multimodal transportation – continue to work with Pompano Beach Multimodal task force to assure that traffic flow will improve with the implementation of public transportation through the corridor of Pompano Beach.

Planned Development – continue to work with Pompano Beach on future development planning city-wide.

Workforce / Affordable Housing – continue to look for opportunities to provide workforce /affordable housing in new development through Pompano Beach. Currently serve on the City of Pompano Beach AHAC and the Regional SHIP Affordable Housing Advisory Committee.

Pedestrian Safety – In the 2026-27 budget I have requested solar powered signage, high-visibility marked crosswalks, improved lighting on shared-use path crossings and unsignalized intersections. To reduce speeding on our community streets I have requested solar-powered speed-reader digital signs on community streets with known speeding issues.

Protect Pompano's Future Water Source - There are 8 future wells and 10 active wells (#17-26) located in District 5. We need to actively pursue the purchase of the land, if possible, where these wells these are located to protect Pompano’s future water source and create additional open space inventory.

City of Pompano Beach Economic Development Council for 3 years- an active member of this organization that tasked with managing community improvement. Specific to District 5, I worked on the NW 31 Avenue task force to recommend some zoning changes and street improvements for this important entryway into our city.

Palm Aire United - A respected director of the board who fights for issues important to all Palm-Aire residents

Lakes, Trails, Green Space - she chairs this committee and interfaces with City Representatives to develop and maintain our local environment

Trail Walker’s Gatherings - she is co-founder with her husband of this grassroots organization of Palm-Aire walkers, bikers, runners, and dog walkers
